What a day!

Wow! Today was INTENSE! We had to be up at 6:15AM (after getting to bed at 1AM) because we are staying at a high school and the teachers are coming back in order to prepare for their students returning from Winter Vacation (still sounds sooo funny) tomorrow. All of the boys had to get their stuff out of their room (which is actually the biblioteca (library)) and put them in the girls room (an unused German studies room) before the teachers arrived at 8AM. We will have to continue this routine the rest of the time we are in Chile.

At 9:30AM fifty-five foster children came to the High School and we had a make-shift Vacation Bible School (played games, did crafts, sang songs, shared Bible stories, etc). Now that was intense! We are all exhausted but at the same time we all loved it! The children left at 5PM and then we had clean up and down time until 7PM.

During the Vacation BIble School, there was a groups set aside to paint booths throughout the high school, as a thank you for letting us stay. The group lead by Israel, was full of hard workers; Hugo, Eddie, Andre, Robert and a special young life member Lucia. After spending time on the booths we received news that we now have to paint two class rooms on top of the booths. We finished everything on time. BALLLINNNN

We are now at dinner and taking a well needed break! We miss you all more and more everyday! We are all safe, healthy, and loving Chile! We love you all!
