Bright skys in Chile

Today has been a little bit warmer. The sun is out, the sky is clear and you can see the beautiful snowcapped Andes Mountains. Part of the team finished up working on the homes we started yesterday. They were able to finish insulating the family´s home. The other half of the team hosted Young Life Discipleship Retreat. There were about 35 Chilean students who attended. There was worship, speaking and fellowship. A Chilean couple accepted Christ for the first time. Tonight our team is leading worship at a rehab center.

The video above is where the team was featured on an international Chilean news station. Yesterday the Mayor of Rancagua showed up while we were doing construction. The news did a segment on one of the houses we worked on, which Marvin blogged about yesterday.

Continue praying because is opening up so many doors while we are here.

They reached out to the Chilean people by helping to meet the needs of local communities and helped rebuild after the devastating earthquake that hit February 2010. Partnerships include: Young Life Chile, Mayor of Rancagua, and the IMB.
